Festive Phoenix Coyotes Doan, Bryz & Coach Tippett
The Coyotes are Back on the ICE!
It was friends, food, fun and HOCKEY Saturday night at Jobing.com Arena. Before the game, my family attended a Coyotes tailgating party. I played a little hockey with some Coyotes fans, everyone was so pumped up for the doors to open and get inside. I got to meet Doug Moss, he was so excited about Opening Night.
I won a signed Shane Doan hockey puck (on his 33rd birthday), from HockeyBuzz for the sign I made … AWESOME! It was really cool seeing everyone wearing WHITE.
I saw so many Roenick #97 Coyotes Jerseys.
I finally saw a NHL player with an Easton S19 Hockey Stick up close, when Yandle went to the penalty box. Wow, I want one!
I really wanted a Coyotes Win, but loosing the game did not take away from all the excitement I felt about the COYOTES being back on the ice in Glendale, AZ and going to my first WhiteOut Hockey game.
My Coach said it best after we lost a game like that “an eye opener … moving forward.”
I Just Got My Tickets for Opening Night!
I am looking forward to opening night. If you still need tickets, here is a great deal from the Phoenix Coyotes!
The offer is only good through Thursday at 9am!
I Got to Meet NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman
Yesterday was really cool. Going to the Court House instead of school. I really wanted to go and see what was going on with the Phoenix Coyotes. One of the Coyotes fans took me into the Court Room to meet the NHL Commissioner Mr. Gary Bettman. I got to see Mr. Bettman in action on the stand.
The Judge didn’t make any decision today, so I was bummed! I was hoping to hear him say … they are staying in Arizona!
The NHL had lunch at the same place we ate lunch with Save the Coyotes Heather. Their Attorney came over to our table and thanked us for coming and supporting the team. Another Attorney gave us some desserts from their table. They were so awesome!!
I ran into Deputy Commissioner Daly outside the restaurant. He remembered meeting me over the summer at the Alltel Ice Den Coyotes Rally.
The Judge was so cool, I think being an NHL Attorney would be a great job too!
At The Coyotes Hearing Today in Phoenix
This will be my first time ever to the Federal Courthouse in Phoenix. I am going to lend my support to the Phoenix Coyotes.
As a hockey player myself, I feel so bad for the families of the hockey players. I am hoping that all of this is over soon and we can enjoy hockey in the desert!!
You can Follow the Bankruptcy Hearing at the Court House here.
Coyotes Season Almost Here …
This video was the last game of the Coyotes 2008-09 season. I never miss the last home game, it has to hold me over until the next season begins! The Coyotes won this one in a shoot out against the Ducks.
Tiki (Viktor Tikhonov) took the shot, tripped and was celebrating while down. His goal WON the game for the Coyotes, he was amazing. It was such a great Game.
Can’t wait for this season to start.
