Polar Bear Squirt A Pre-Season Starts Today!

I hit the ice with my new team mates today.  I am the only returning player to the Polar Bears Squirt A Team. Most of last year’s players moved up to Pee Wee.

This year I am playing for Coach Nietzel and Coach Goldberg.  We are playing the Jr. Coyotes at 3:40 at Chandler Polar Ice. Tomorrow we are scrimmaging DYHA at the Oceanside Rink.  That game starts at 11:15 AM.

Our season starts with the Labor Day Tournament here in Phoenix.  All of my games for the season opener will be played at the Ice Den in Scottsdale.

Here we go!

Jr. A Polar Bears WIN Thorne Cup

While playing for the Phoenix Polar Bears this year, I got to know some of the Jr. A players.

I was at the game in March when they won the WSHL Thorne Cup against the Boulder Bison.  We went on the ice to have our pictures taken with the team and the Cup.

My favorite player on the Polar Bears Jr. A team is the goalie Casey O’Connor.  After the game, he said I was his #1 fan and he gave me one of his goalie sticks!  I am also lucky to have bid on his Breast Cancer jersey and won it.

Casey and the Phoenix Polar Bear Jr. A players are great roll models and hockey players!

Hockey Rocks!

Flash Back Jr. Coyotes in Michigan

My Mom just finished up putting together a few videos from last year when I played for the Jr. Coyotes. Here is a video from one of the Silver Stick Games at the St. Clair Shores Civic Center in Michigan.

Thanks Mom!

Off Season Training Starts Today!

Yesterday, I played my last hockey tournament as a Mite. We had two games, we won the first and lost the second to the Polar Bears. It was a good way to end the season, playing against my friends on the PB. We should have won that game … but, long shifts and tired legs … we lost by ONE!

Today officially started my off ice training, so I can be ready for the next season of Squirts. I am playing Flag Football and I know the Coach! We won both games and our team is looking great with only two practices under our belt.

I am looking forward to next weekend, my team is taking on my goalie’s flag football team!!  May the best hockey player WIN!!
