Here we go again! I went to the rink today to order my gear for the upcoming Polar Bears Season. Awesome new Reebok warm ups. The shell that I put over my hockey pants will have the Polar Bears logo and my number on it, that is so cool!
I can’t wait to get my equipment and start the new season! I have already started breaking in my new X30 Bauer skates and Bauer Vapor X15 hockey stick. Go Polar Bears!
After hockey practice tonight; picked up some Pei Wei, the fortune in my cookie read: You will be traveling to distant lands for business purposes. It’s true, I am heading to Colorado, that is … kind of a distant land and my business is HOCKEY!
I will land in Denver around 10:30 am on Friday and head straight for the Ice Center at the Promenade for a team practice. Our first game is Saturday morning at 7:00am, shortly after there will be a team pin trading ceremony, and then I am heading to the Pepsi Center where the Colorado Avalanche take on the New Jersey Devils. Look for me on TV, I am going to wear my Phoenix Coyotes Jersey to the game!!! The Phoenix Polar Bears play two more games on Sunday and we will finish things up on Monday.
We did it all yesterday! Two hours of ice time, some soccer and a game of football. The weather here was really nice today. I have met so many new hockey friends. I have been hanging out with a kid from the Jr. Sharks that I played against in a hockey tournament in January this year.
I had my last day of practices before heading to Calgary to pick up my mom & sisters.
I just touched down in San Jose, CA. It was a great plane ride! I have my gear and I am just waiting on the rental car with my dad. I am so excited! We are planning to get some lunch and walk around downtown and then get ready for the Sharks game tonight.
