Murph Celebrates with AZ Runners Line Mates

Love this time of the year! Getting ready for try outs and a new season of hockey.  I was asked to play for the AZ Runners, in the Jr. Ducks Memorial Day Shoot Out Tourney in Anaheim, CA.

After going up against the AZ Runners hard all season, I can’t believe I am wearing their jersey and playing for their team. We had 3 practices prior to leaving for California, I loved the extra ice time and getting to know my new teammates. The players are awesome, I have made so many friends.

My first official tournament as a Pee Wee player and there is checking! I am having a blast. Taking as well as giving some hits! The tournament was a great way for me to get ready for try outs. My game last night was on a sheet of olympic ice, that was some good conditioning! Looking forward to finishing up this tourney strong and learning all there is to learn from my coaches.

Jr. Ducks Tourney is awesome! You can check out our tournament progress on PointStreak here.

Coyotes Season Almost Here …

This video was the last game of the Coyotes 2008-09 season.  I never miss the last home game, it has to hold me over until the next season begins!  The Coyotes won this one in a shoot out against the Ducks.

Tiki (Viktor Tikhonov) took the shot, tripped and was celebrating while down. His goal WON the game for the Coyotes, he was amazing. It was such a great Game.

Can’t wait for this season to start.

Murph and the Hockey Easter Bunnies!

Hockey Easter Eve was amazing at Jobing.com Arena! My mom and I went to the Coyotes game. What a GAME it was!  The Coyotes took the lead early, so I went to the Den to shop came back and the Ducks had tied the game. OT was close … lots of shots on goal. In the shootout, Tikhonov was the game winner with an amazing slow motion goal on  Jean-Sebastian Giguere (the goal actually had to be reviewed).  This is my favorite game of the year, the last game is all about the FANS!

Ducks fans went home Quacking:)  Have a Happy Hockey Easter! Murph #27
