Dear Goldwater Institute, I Just Had the Best Night of my Life!

Dear Goldwater Institute Staff:

Phoenix Coyotes Game

Last night was the best night of my life! Why you ask? Because, I attended another Phoenix Coyotes game. I love hockey, hockey is my passion, heck, hockey is my life. I cannot imagine my life without MY local hockey team. The Phoenix Coyotes sponsored my career 7 years ago in Kids First Hockey, they provided me with full gear, so that I along with hundreds of other kids could try the sport. I was hooked because of the Phoenix Coyotes generosity. The Phoenix Coyotes are extremely generous, and are always giving back to the community that supports them!

I’m only 10 and I know if I beg my parents enough, I can usually get them to buy me that new hockey stick I want so badly. SO … I am begging you here; because I want he Phoenix Coyotes to say in Arizona, way more than any new, awesome hockey stick.

PLEASE find a way … any way to allow the sale of the Phoenix Coyotes to go through! The Phoenix Coyotes are part of our hockey family, part of our community and we should reachout and help them. PLEASE, please, Please!

Please, don’t let this season be the last time I have the “best night of my life” … please find a way to HELP the Phoenix Coyotes stay in Glendale! Please:) with a smiley face attached!

Sincerely, Patrick W. Murphy (Murph #27)

The Coyotes are Back on the ICE!

IMG_5305It was friends, food, fun and HOCKEY Saturday night at Jobing.com Arena.  Before the game, my family attended a Coyotes tailgating party.  I played a little hockey with some Coyotes fans, everyone was so pumped up for the doors to open and get inside.  I got to meet Doug Moss, he was so excited about Opening Night.

I won a signed Shane Doan hockey puck (on his 33rd birthday), from HockeyBuzz for the sign I made … AWESOME!  It was really cool seeing everyone wearing WHITE.  YandleI saw so many Roenick #97 Coyotes Jerseys.

I finally saw a NHL player with an Easton S19 Hockey Stick up close, when Yandle went to the penalty box.  Wow, I want one!

I really wanted a Coyotes Win, but loosing the game did not take away from all the excitement I felt about the COYOTES being back on the ice in Glendale, AZ and going to my first WhiteOut Hockey game.

My Coach said it best after we lost a game like that “an eye opener … moving forward.”

Yotes Fans Are Celebrating in Phoenix!!

The COYOTES are staying in Glendale, AZ! That is the best news ever!! Thank you JudgeIMG_2611 Baum for that great decision. I am looking forward to celebrating with the Coyotes Fans. I do feel bad for the Canadian fans, that hoped to get a team in Hamilton. Having your own NHL team is the best feeling in the world. Hockey RULES and so do YOTES fans!!
