San Jose Silver Sticks Tournament for Thanksgiving

Our team has just confirmed that we are heading to San Jose, CA for Thanksgiving. We will be participating in the Silver Sticks Mite A Regional Qualifier from November 27th ~ 30th. This will be my first Regional Tournament with the hopes of attending the Nationals in St. Clair Shores, MI in January 2009. It is there that we would play against the best teams in the US and Canada. I am taking the trip with my dad, I can’t wait to play hockey in San Jose!

My Coach is really excited about taking our team to San Jose. We have been working very hard at practice in order to prepare for November. Going to San Jose will be a great experience for the Mite A Jr. Coyotes and something we will never forget.

My main focus will be the Regional Tournament but I am so excited to have tickets to the San Jose Sharks game while I am there. I am looking forward to seeing Jeremy Roenick and Joe Thornton work their magic! They are a true inspiration to any hockey player.

On the way to the tournament!

I was so pumped up on the ride to Peoria. I watched my In the Crease DVD, while driving to the rink and back. It is my all time favorite DVD. I have memorized it. The movie is a true story about the California Wave Bantam AAA travel hockey team’s journey to the National Championship. Some awesome NHL players are in the movie, Jeremy Roenick, Joe Thorton, Scott Gomez, Mike Comrie, Scott Niedermayer, Craig Conroy, Brendan Shanahan and Derian Hatcher. Thank You Muze Clothing!

My team the Mite A Jr. Coyotes is looking for sponsors for the 2008-09 hockey season. I emailed a few local companies in Scottsdale, AZ. One of the companies was Muze Clothing; take a look at their website … www.muzeclothing.com. Many celebs wear their brand name, including my HERO Jeremy Roenick.

The founder of Muze, Bill Deacon Jr. wanted to contribute, so he sent us a case of Phoenix Coyotes Decade in the Desert hockey pucks that JR had given to him. My Coach will be thankful when I show up with these in August!!
