Saturday was an amazing morning in Tempe, AZ!  I joined some of my teammates from the Phoenix Polar Bears and walked 3.26 miles to support the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, there was almost 10,000 walkers!

With the support of my family & friends, I was able to raise $230 for the cause!  At the very end of the event, I met a Breast Cancer Survivor and she praised us and thanked us for walking.

The Jr. A players were waiting and cheering us on at the finish line.  The Phoenix Polar Bear Jr. A Team will be wearing Limited Edition Pink Jersey’s for 12 hockey games.  They are holding an AUCTION, so you can purchase the PINK jersey of your favorite Jr. A player with ALL proceeds going to the American Cancer Society, the auction ends December 5th.  Go Polar Bears!!
