This weekend the President’s Day Invitational Hockey Tournament begins. The Polar Bear Squirt A Team will be playing all of our games at Polar Ice in Chandler. We have some great teams coming in from California, Georgia and Vancouver, BC in the Squirt A Division.

Friday @ 5:20pm vs Bay Harbor Red Wings
Saturday @ 11:10am vs Atlanta Fire
Sunday @ 6am vs Valencia Express
Semi-final games will be Sunday at 3:30 & 3:50pm
Consolation game will be Monday at 8am
Championship will be Monday at 9:30!
I was so excited when I found out the Phoenix Coyotes Scottie Upshall and Matthew Lombardi
were coming to Polar Ice Chandler to meet fans. Unfortunately; they were going to be there while I was on the ice for travel practice. My mom waited in line and got my Coyotes jersey signed, but I really wanted to meet both of them.
After practice my teammates and I were getting changed when the locker room door opened and Lombardi walked it. Matthew heard that we didn’t get to see the players because we were on the ice, so he came to in to take photos with us. It was so awesome! My teammates were so excited and we will NEVER forget it! Lombardi ROCKS on the ice and off!!
Another season is under way. The Phoenix Polar Bears have started practices and already had a few scrimmages, but this weekend the games start.
I am very excited to have our first hockey tournament this Labor Day weekend. The Squirt A teams will be playing at the Arcadia Ice Rink in Phoenix. Tournament Schedule:
