My first San Jose Sharks Home Game

We got to the rink really early, because I was so excited! My dad got me a mystery gift and when I opened it, it was a Jeremy Roenick signed puck! I am wearing his number … how lucky!

The HPPavilion Arena is so beautiful and you can see the BIG shark behind me. We went down and watched the Sharks warm up and I got to see JR up close. Our seats were front row behind Nabokov (Sharks Goalie), they were awesome!

They gave out Black Armour Jerseys, the new jersey is so cool. The Sharks pulled out a win 3-2 in OT, seeing that game was the highlight of the trip for me!

Murph has landed in San Jose

I just touched down in San Jose, CA. It was a great plane ride! I have my gear and I am just waiting on the rental car with my dad. I am so excited! We are planning to get some lunch and walk around downtown and then get ready for the Sharks game tonight.

JR for Halloween

JR for Halloween

My new San Jose Sharks jersey came in the mail last week; just in time for me to be Jeremy Roenick for Halloween! The jersey, my hockey gear and some hair gel and I was all set for a night of collecting candy.

I got a lot of compliments on my hair! There are a lot of Roenick fans in my neighborhood, and they gave me extra candy for my costume. It was fun being JR for a night!

I will be wearing my jersey again in November, when I attend a Shark’s game in San Jose. I am looking forward to seeing Jeremy do his thing on the ice!

I can’t wait to get to San Jose, it will be the best Thanksgiving ever! I wake up every morning and count down the days until I leave for the Silver Sticks Tournament!

Coyotes vs Sharks Peter Mueller Had a Hat-Trick

My family went to see the Phoenix Coyotes take on the San Jose Sharks in a preseason game. With the Sharks in town, I had to see Roenick play! We stayed on the sharks end while they were warming up. I was at the glass, and Jeremy Roenick came over to me and hit the glass with his stick! I was so excited. That was the highlight of the night for me.

I also got to see Olli Jokinen in a Coyotes uniform for the first time. He played great. Peter Mueller was on fire tonight, his line was really working well together and he got a hat-trick! Some of my hockey friends were at the game and I also saw some PF Chang’s players I knew. Coyotes win 5-1!

I got to meet Peter Mueller at Jobing.com Arena last month, he’s really cool!

San Jose Silver Sticks Tournament for Thanksgiving

Our team has just confirmed that we are heading to San Jose, CA for Thanksgiving. We will be participating in the Silver Sticks Mite A Regional Qualifier from November 27th ~ 30th. This will be my first Regional Tournament with the hopes of attending the Nationals in St. Clair Shores, MI in January 2009. It is there that we would play against the best teams in the US and Canada. I am taking the trip with my dad, I can’t wait to play hockey in San Jose!

My Coach is really excited about taking our team to San Jose. We have been working very hard at practice in order to prepare for November. Going to San Jose will be a great experience for the Mite A Jr. Coyotes and something we will never forget.

My main focus will be the Regional Tournament but I am so excited to have tickets to the San Jose Sharks game while I am there. I am looking forward to seeing Jeremy Roenick and Joe Thornton work their magic! They are a true inspiration to any hockey player.
