It was a great way to end the 2009-10 Squirt A season, by winning the State Championship Title!!

Murph & Coach Ed Kastelic
At the end of March, the Phoenix Polar Bears played the Jr. Coyotes in the Championship game of the Grand Canyon State Games and won 6-2. It was another amazing victory!
My Squirt A team finished the season undefeated in league games with a record of 19-0.
I had a great season with awesome teammates and an awesome Coach! Coach Ed Kastelic taught me a lot this year, and it was an honor to play for him.
It was a perfect season and I will never forget it!
This past weekend the Phoenix Polar Bear Squirt A team showed up BIG in Colorado for the MLK Tournament in Arvada, CO. Despite all the obstacles we faced, we were undefeated in 5 all games!
I missed my scheduled flight home because we made it to the Championship Game!! It was well worth it … the trophy was AWESOME and victory is sweet!
Thank you to the awesome lady at Southwest Airlines that got me on the next flight home to Phoenix, just because I was wearing a hat with hockey sticks on it! HOCKEY ROCKS!
After hockey practice tonight; picked up some Pei Wei, the fortune in my cookie read: You will be traveling to distant lands for business purposes. It’s true, I am heading to Colorado, that is … kind of a distant land and my
business is HOCKEY!
I will land in Denver around 10:30 am on Friday and head straight for the Ice Center at the Promenade for a team practice. Our first game is Saturday morning at 7:00am, shortly after there will be a team pin trading ceremony, and then I am heading to the Pepsi Center where the Colorado Avalanche take on the New Jersey Devils. Look for me on TV, I am going to wear my Phoenix Coyotes Jersey to the game!!! The Phoenix Polar Bears play two more games on Sunday and we will finish things up on Monday.
The Phoenix Polar Bears Squirt A team is looking to bring home the banner from the MLK Hockey Tournament in Arvada, CO.
