I am looking forward to opening night. If you still need tickets, here is a great deal from the Phoenix Coyotes!
The offer is only good through Thursday at 9am!
We hit the ice today for a scrimmage against the DYHA Squirt AA team. I love playing those guys. I have lots of friends on the DYHA team and I have worked with Coaches Alex Hicks and John Kosobud over the summer. Totally tough competition! We tied the first time we played them a few weeks ago. Today we held them tight in the first period, down by 2. We
lost it in the end 7-2.
Bad news is that we lost, good news is … we still have a few weeks before the official start of our season, and time to improve!
Back to work …
Yesterday was really cool. Going to the Court House instead of school. I really wanted to go and see what was going on with the Phoenix Coyotes. One of the Coyotes fans took me into the Court Room to meet the NHL Commissioner Mr. Gary Bettman. I got to see Mr. Bettman in action on the stand.Â
The Judge didn’t make any decision today, so I was bummed! I was hoping to hear him say … they are staying in Arizona!
The NHL had lunch at the same place we ate lunch with Save the Coyotes Heather. Their Attorney came over to our table and thanked us for coming and supporting the team. Another Attorney gave us some desserts from their table. They were so awesome!!
I ran into Deputy Commissioner Daly outside the restaurant. He remembered meeting me over the summer at the Alltel Ice Den Coyotes Rally.
The Judge was so cool, I think being an NHL Attorney would be a great job too!
This will be my first time ever to the Federal Courthouse in Phoenix. I am going to lend my support to the Phoenix Coyotes.
As a hockey player myself, I feel so bad for the families of the hockey players. I am hoping that all of this is over soon and we can enjoy hockey in the desert!!
You can Follow the Bankruptcy Hearing at the Court House here.
This long hockey weekend was AWESOME!! The Phoenix Polar Bears did a great job bringing home the banner in the Labor Day Tournament!
We were in second place going into the playoffs. It was pretty cool that we played against my old teammates from the Jr. Coyotes. I had the first goal of the game; it was a rebound goal, off of a nice shot from my teammate Mark.
I’m not sure I agree with the tripping penalty I got in that game! Sorry Robby!!
That win gave us a spot in the Championship game on Monday vs the Jr. Coyotes 99 team. We were down 2-0, and came back to win the game 4-2!
It was an incredible victory. I could hear the Polar Bear fans counting down the clock and we cleared the bench and headed for our goalie! SWEET! We got trophies and skated around the rink with the banner. What a great way to start the season!!
